Meet Our Lead Sonographer – Shazia Shahid
MBBS • Advanced Practitioner Sonographer (UK) • RCT Registered • BMUS Member • POCUS Certified
Shazia is a highly experienced medical and ultrasound professional with over 25 years of clinical experience, both internationally and within the NHS.
Her background includes:
- Medical Doctor (MBBS)
- RCT Registered (Professional Register for UK Technologists & Practitioners)
- BMUS Member with continuous CPD
- UK POCUS Certified
- Worked with NHS directly and in Primary healthcare as Sonographer since 2017
- 8 years as an Ultrasound Specialist in Saudi Arabia (licensed Radiology Resident)
- About 10 years experience in Pakistan as Sonogrpaher and GP with different private practices.
- Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Ultrasound (2011)
- Extensive supervised, radiologist-led training and multi-specialty exposure
Shazia is known for being warm, patient-centred, and exceptionally thorough, ensuring every patient receives a clear explanation, professional guidance, and a detailed written report.
Her combined medical and ultrasound training allows her to assess findings with depth, structure, and clinical insight.
